First Post

Hello!

I'm starting my diet blog today. I'm hoping that by incorporating a blog into my diet, I will be able to keep track of what I eat and how much I work out and (hopefully!) it will aid me in losing the weight I want to get rid of.

It's the start of my summer and although I wish I had done this diet months ago, its not too late to get that summer body I've dreamed of.

I'm 20 years old 5'5" 3/4 feet tall (I usually say 5'6") and around 126-128 lbs. My measurements are 35-26-40. I have a lot of extra weight in my hips and legs which I am hoping to get rid of.

On this blog I'll post what I ate and how much I exercised on any particular day. As well as maybe post a question for anyone to respond to if they read the post. Here we go!

Today I recharged my ipod for the first time in months, and loaded on some of my favorite music. I'm fortunate enough to live near I really nice park with a great trail for runners. I'm going to go running for a few hours.

Question: I've been looking into some pilates and hot yoga studios near my house. I've heard varying things about their effectiveness during weight loss. Is it worth it to try one of these out purely for the weight loss benefits, or would that be a waste of time? Thanks!
